A Family of Champions
From the place where I was staying with my family to the closest Cyber Cafe', I \there was a little less than ten minutes of walking distance that I covered twice a day to check on my eBay business. Along the way I often walked by various folks who lived in the neighborhood. I always would take the time to greet them in my happy friendly style. Ola'. buenos dias, buenas tardes, como va', are just some of the many ways the Argentineans use to greet one another. I did practice everyone of them the best I could with a smile.
One day on my way back from the cyber cafe'. I heard a whistle followed by a voice of someone calling attention. After several repetitions I looked back to see who was doing the whistling and to whom. That's when I noticed that it was one of the neighbors and he was directing is attention to me.
When he saw that I had noticed him he waved his arm in a gesture of invitation for me to come back to his place. I retracked my steps and came up to him.
