Bobby Shew enchanted the minds and hearts of the public during his performance at the Hot Springs Jazz Festival in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

When experiencing several great musicians one after another through out the festival the senses tend to get overwhelmed.   The performance bar is razed to point after which we just get used to be greatly impressed with so much talent in such short time!!! 

Then Bobby Shew started to play.  And something began to happen to me that was different from all experienced up that moment.  While unable to define what that shift of feelings was exactly, I found myself responding to his music with my emotions not my mind.  Slowly I realized that I was experiencing an artist's heart and spirit through music.  I was listening to a spirit not to a well played instrument.  I was experiencing something new that may last the rest of my life to continue to explore.

From the intensity of his performance to the honest and kind disposition Bobby is an inspiration to anyone honored with the privilege of meeting him personally.

During my brief visit with Bobby I felt the continuum of what I had experienced when listening to his music.  I know I have expanded my horizon through the experience of meeting Bobby Shew!
