A wedding is an event that when looked upon as story about trust, hope, and love becomes an inspiration to all of us.
Each wedding story is unique even when the traditional rituals are integrated throughout the history of our culture.
My mission when called to document such a precious event is to open my heart to the experience and hopefully capture the spirit of that event in the light of its unique nature.
In the end when the bride and groom drive away, I too feel the hope, love, and joy through the family's laughter, song, and tears.
I become a greeter being because with me is kept a part of their life's history, and with them the images that I felt in my heart, saw with my eyes, and expressed with the passion for my art.

What I love the most about working with kids, is their ability to live in the moment and have fun. Often in a portrait cession at first they look as if they are going to the dentist. However, given the chance soon after we take the first most conventional group poses, they start to kid around to see what I do. This is when the real session actually starts because I then announce that the boring session is over, and now we are just going to have some fun and try to come up with some cool stuff. Among several creative experiments one of the girls suggested having some swing shots taken in action.
The resulting favorite shot of the whole thing ended up being this one image where we did the swing action planning for some studio digital fun!
The background was an image from a library of art work I had purchased on eBay some time ago and did fit the idea rather well. I wish I knew `who the artist was so I could give the proper credit.
By using Adobe to separate the subjects from the background and then pasting them over the art work, I added some movement blur and tilted then to create some sense of dynamics.
