The South East Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages chose Louisville, KY for their annual conference.

During the short time I was there covering the SETESOL conference, I was able to take a quick scan-look at the down-town. I was really impressed with the architecture, atmosphere, and last but not least: the people! I did not meet a single unfriendly soul! Everyone was friendly, willing to help, point you in the right direction, and excellent traffic manners to top it all.

Julia -- my wife -- and I, we are coming back to visit this extremely culturally rich town and enjoy the food, entertainment, and the local community.
